Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress from the US. Her most well-known role is her part as Skyler White on the AMC show Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. In addition, she has played Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in preparation for her first job before moving her family to Ohio. She was a theatre student at Northwestern University and spent a year in the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in the theatre in the Chicago region for a couple of years prior to trying her luck in TV and films. Anna had her biggest break in 1992 when she was cast as Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. In the early 90s she was a frequent guest on both films and television, such as Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. Skyler played the character in Breaking Bad. Gunn also appeared in the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn is also a part of the the stage for David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. Also, she appeared in the podcast Numbered Day consisting of four audio plays. The main storyline of Breaking Good is centered around the relationship between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their difficult relationship. The relationship's strain and ending of it all are reminiscent of the end of Walter White's life.
