Dina Meyer is an New York native who was brought up within Forest Hills Queens. She relocated from Queens to Dix Hills Long Island just when she was finishing her high school junior year. She has two younger siblings and an older brother. Her first experience in the industry of entertainment was when she did some modeling at the age of 9 to 16. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she started studying Sanford Meisner's acting techniques for approximately three years. Other actors to receive such instruction include Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, as well as other people. Her first role was in the soap-opera Beverly Hills, 90210, in which she had to relocate out to Los Angeles. The role was as the leading lady in Johnny Mnemonic in which she did almost every stunt herself, and established herself as a skilled actor. As well as Matt LeBlanc's agency for talent, her agent was responsible for a number of regular roles on Friends.
